A community built on understanding
Own Time & Space is a community interest company that supports children & their families pre & post diagnosis, with the acknowledgment that parenting can present unique challenges and everyone’s experience will be different.
Our professional knowledge and guidance is rooted in a neuro- affiriming approach which embraces children’s difference, and advocates for creating positive and accepting environments for children to develop and grow at their own pace.
Community support is at the heart of Own Time & Space ethos bringing accessible support, education, advice & training to all.

Uniquely Me
A 6-week course helping children and young people understand autism and ADHD, build confidence and explore their identity.

Workshops
Monthly sessions for parents covering key topics like behaviour, anxiety, masking and school support.

Sensory Sessions
Play-based sessions designed for sensory exploration in a safe, supportive environment.
Ages 3 – 8 years.

Neurodivergent Kids
A relaxed space for children to connect, play and be themselves.
Ages 7 – 11 years.

Guest speakers & wellbeing events
Talks and wellbeing sessions with experts and lived experience voices, supporting families and carers.
